The Hyde Park Refugee Project brings refugees and other immigrants together with volunteers from the South Side of Chicago to resettle our new neighbors and help them become self-sufficient. 

Fostering Community

The Hyde Park Refugee Project was founded in 2016 and today has more than 200 volunteers who walk alongside our refugee and immigrant neighbors and foster a welcoming community. 
We are committed to creating an environment that promotes security and belonging, and to providing the support needed for individuals and families of all immigrant backgrounds to lead lives of dignity and self-determination.
